These babies need so much, but so does their family. A parent might need a warm blanket to sleep with while they stay in the lounge of the hospital, while their baby is in crisis.

A gas card to help supplement their costs of coming to the hospital. Infant books to read to their baby in the hospital. In addition, we collect items for the families to take home with them after discharge.

Please take the time, make a donation to these families that need all the love, and support during this difficult time.

    NOW ACCEPTING VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS!!!

Check out our services page to decide which volunteer activity would be for you.

We will announce our next training shortly. Each training is at The Children's Home of Pittsburgh.

ALL volunteers are required to go through an orientation training. A face to face meeting will take place at the end of the orientation to gather information about the volunteer's interest areas and needs for the organization.

If you have an interest in the hotline, please note that you will need to get a criminal and child clearance (Act 33/34, 35). *

If you are interested in hospital outreach you will need criminal/child clearances. In addition, you will need a current tb shot. *

    * We are an organization that is starting out, and so the current clearances and tb test will be at the volunteer's expense.

Please contact the volunteer chair at: volunteer@parentresourcenetwork.org for any questions.
